Being a teenager can be rough for many reasons. It's hard to figure out life some days, and it can seem easier to manage with unhealthy behaviors or avoidance rather than going through the struggle of sorting out how to cope in healthier ways.
I'd like to help you feel more in control and better able to manage life in ways that allow you to shrink some of the stressful parts that hold you back and at the same time give you the knowledge and opportunity to cope in ways that allow you to be healthy and resilient - to better deal with whatever life may be tossing your way.
Sometimes it may be hard to tell the difference between typical teen issues and more serious problems. If you are currently caught up in eating habits and behaviors that are harmful or don't feel right try contacting me. We can explore whether some extra support might help to turn down some of the noise that may be causing problems. Sometimes other people in your life that care about you are concerned first. Even if you think your food, weight and body image issues are not that serious right now ...... don't wait until they are.
